I was searching for masa without pork lard for tamales and finally found a spot that could help me out, plus their tacos-chicken, steak, and al pastor-were insanely good with moist, flavorful meat. The friendly staff, great salsa bar, and tasty Mexican breakfast combos make this little supermarket and taco truck combo one of my favorite places to grab authentic food and groceries around Sacramento.

I was on the hunt for masa to make tamales without pork lard for my wife's religious preferences. After calling around, I found a spot that could accommodate our needs. The tacos, including chicken, steak, and al pastor, were all delicious and moist, making them some of the best I've tried in Sacramento.
