Exciting news for Spanish cuisine enthusiasts in Saint Louis! BARcelona Tapas has relocated to a new spot on Forsyth in Clayton, MO. Despite the smaller venue, the tapas remain as flavorful as ever, complemented by friendly servers and lively live music. The intimate setting makes it an ideal choice for a solo date or a night out, especially during Clayton Restaurant Week.

I went to Barcelona expecting to have a great meal. It was not at all busy & everyone working there ignored me. Eventually I picked a table & sat down. Looking around, I saw a stack of menus & got one. I had a couple things in mind to possibly order. I stopped looking at the menu, hoping someone would get a clue. Eventually a waitress asked me if she could help me with anything, & she really was disinterested. I told her I would like to order a dinner. She pointed out a page & I selected lamb chops. When I got the food, it came on a dish smaller than the traditional saucer. I assumed the rest would be coming. I cut into the lamb chops & they weren't done. I decided to try it anyway. It had no seasoning, and was chewy because it was half raw. It was dull! It was covered in a reddish brown sauce that blended in with the blood, & even that had no taste. The waitress asked me if I needed anything. I told her I'm waiting on the rest of my dinner. She told me there is nothing more in that order. I told her I had said I was there to order dinner, so where is the rest of the dinner. I told here the lamb chops weren't even good. I only have 3 tiny lamb chops that cost 6.00 dollars apiece. She didn't care, shrugging her shoulders. She said if I want more food, I am free to order. I paid & walked out, not eating the food.
