I have a mushroom allergy. I get a sandwich that does not come with mushrooms, still my husband is thorough and orders everything no mushrooms. Well, this visit he came home and gave me my food and immediately sick. Full of mushrooms, as was every sandwich. Called the mgr., told him one wanted refund, one replaced, the other I would have to check and let him know. I had clients arrive, would have to do so after my appt. After my client left, i called to get replacement and refund of food, I was told they would have to let me know. My husband went up there, and was told 2 sandwiches and 2 fries were being replaced thats all he was approved to do. He told my husband there were 2 tickets. My husband showed him there were 3 in the bag. He said just refund it all. He said he did but shorted us $10 refund. I called up there and the guy immediately had an attitude. I was VERY RUDELY told the mg. was busy. I said I would wait. He got on the phone and asked about the tax being refunded (my husband thought it was that). He told me no, it was (all #'s rounded) $42, $3 tax, total $45. I then began explaining my conv. w/the mgr. ealier and he UDELY interrupted me said I have to get back to work. WOW! I got off the phone, pulled up my bank statement and sure enough, they lied to both my husband and I. I find that appalling, to lie to a customers face about their money...SO i called back, upset and a lady answer. She acted as if she could help me. NOPE! Liar as well. She told me it was the $1.50 for the extra product and for some reason their system doesn't auto refund that. I asked her to look up the receipt to which she said once refunded we cant see it anymore. Okay, so how did your "manager" just read off to me the sub total, tax, and total after it was refunded? I hung up. I was in mgmt. in the food ind. 10 years, never would a customer be treated that way, especially after being told a customer with an allergy, who specifically asked for their meal NOT to have this item on it ,was given their food with it on there....and made by the manager (who told me it was him who made it) and that they took a bite and got sick. They should be doing anything I ask of them right now after they could have killed me! Im livid right now.. Very deceptive practices here, and the employees are thieves, plain and simple.They aren't refunding me the original sandwich they said they would. i don't know why. My husband ate something else and didn't eat it. Even if he did ,we had to drive all the way back up there to get a replacement for their mistake, and they damn near could have killed me if I hadn't gotten sick and vomited the mushrooms up. To be treated this was is absolutely unacceptable! Shame on them, shame on Tommy and his crew. They deserve to have their jobs taken for being so careless with peoples lives, even more so for caring so little about how careless they are being.
