The food is usually well-cooked, but the staff, particularly the women, have an unpleasant attitude issue, which seems to improve when the owner is present; the chicken wings are delicious and the okra is a win-win, with the seasoning, crispiness, and quality always on point, making it worth a return visit despite the slightly higher prices.

I wasted $23 tonight at Mack's Chicken. The fries and okra were cold with too much salt sprinkled on the fries. In fact, the fires appeared to be a batch that should've been discarded hours earlier. It's disgraceful to serve poor quality food. I called to express my concern and was told to bring the food back for a replacement. I live 15 minutes from the restaurant and wasn't going back and have to wait an additional 20 minutes or more. The person that answered the phone, one of the owners, was insensitive and not concerned about the complaint. He expressed that he would talk to the cook. Yeah right! His response should've been for me to get a replacement of those items during my next visit. I will NEVER order from this establishment again.

EXCELLENT FOOD!!!!!!! NICE PEOPLE........But the WORST SERVICE IN THE HISTORY OF SERVICE!!! Called a order in b4 7pm....was told 20min....got there at 8pm....food wasn't ready until 845....the worst part is you are not even acknowledged for patiently waiting on food that you ordered an hour ago.....product is too good for terrible service to ruin.💯
