03/02/2013 - Run away screaming!
I do not recommend eating at moys kitchen! My boyfriend and I decided to try somewhere new and we won't ever go back. We were the only people eating there, but service was kinda slow. Boyfriend asked for mandarin chicken, they were out, Sweet n sour chicken, they were out. I asked what meat is in the eggroll, they mix pork and shrimp together, gross. I got fried wontons, they were very overcooked, never seen anywhere serve them so dark and burned before, even a fast food place would be ashamed to serve those things. When my boyfriend got his rice the pork on it was cold like it'd just come out of the fridge. I asked for pan fried noodles instead of pork chow mein, they got my order wrong twice. First they brought me the pork chow mein, then when I pointed out I had asked for pan fried noodles instead the waitress seemed panicked. There was a lot of yelling in chinese in the back and by the time I got my plate back my boyfriend was already done eating. They brought me weird little noodles mixed in pork chow mein, they were not pan fried noodles, I don't know what they were and I didn't want pork chow mein at all much less slimed over my noodls. By then I gave up. The rice wasn't great and was a suprisingly small portion compared to all the gross chow mein. The egg foo young was tiny, weird looking and burned on the outside, I only took one bite. I was supposed to get soup included with the meal I ordered but when I asked about it they were out of that too and didn't bother to warn me or discount my meal at all. Our table had no soy sauce and most of the other tables were out too, I managed to find one table with about a centimeters worth in the bottle and got it off another table myself. We were never offered tea or fortune cookies and had to go find the waitress to get our check and a to go box since I refused to eat about 70 percent of my meal. We later realized since they did have sweet and sour sauce for the won tons they must have just been out of chicken all together. Neither of us were satisfied and neither of us cared for the food, we ended up going to get food at a fast food chain later that night. We also both got sick that night.
