Service was mediocre at best. TK has the feeling of a fledgling chain restaurant, one that's straining to make flight. Bringing a small dish of olive oil and two olives to the table with a hint of tomato sauce in it, and never getting any bread to dip in it until I asked, just before the entree arrived, Drinks took about ten minutes to show up after ordering, its tough to pour a glass of wine. Food, while good, was in very small portions as well as very expensive. Atomosphere very noisy, I won't be back.

2015 Easter we ordered the best pizza chiena we ever had at Tuscan Kitchen. We told everyone it was better than Boston's pizza chiena. Boy did this year disappoint. The meat was tough and the process dry. Is there a new Chef??? Hope our friends WE told DID not try this year's easter pizza chiena, because it was NOT THE SAME AS LAST YEARS!!!

We were at the Salem Tuscan on Sunday around 3:30. The waiter Jon F, was more than helpful and he explained the $28 Sunday special thoroughly. The meal was excellent and the price great.

The only bad experience I had was with the seating. I called and asked for a booth but when the associate took me to the booth it was the one with people on both sides of us. I told her I didn't want to sit there and then she became very agitated and said that is all they had. I looked around and found a booth, not cleaned yet, and asked for that one. Her reply was it had to be cleaned and it would take time, I said I will wait. We did end up eating there. I think she was rude.

Again, the meal was great and the waiter more than helpful

The cafe is in a beautiful Italian market, so the cappuccino should be fantastico- wrong. The first time, the coffee was served cold and the second time, there was no foam...hmmm, so unauthentic. My salad and my husband's panini were just mediocre.
Also, the menu was very confusing, especially if you cannot read Italian. Looks like the Italian Kitchen is growing too quickly and is not paying attention to detail...Careful, especially, when they are opening in Burlington, MA. I really think it's overrated.

Very dissapointed.
I have been looking forward to trying Tuscan Kitchen. Today my boyfriend and I came down from bike week laconia, I carried only my ID on me as my boyfriend was paying for our outing. After being sat I go to order my drink, the waitress asks for my ID, I happily give it to her. She gives it back to me and wanders off, five minutes later she comes back and asks for it again, saying that because its out of state her manager needs to see it, Fine, I hand it over again. Another 5 minutes pass and the waitress asks if i have anything else with my name on it. No, I do not. All I have is my legal state issued identification. Problem? I'm from out of state. I was refused service for not having a New Hampshire license.

Bummer on you Tuscan Kitchen, I will happily take my business elsewhere, To an establishment that has even half a brain to be able to verify a license from another state.
