Top Reviews of Runway Ruby's

review_stars 12/15/2014 - HerkFE
I first went to Runway Ruby's at their original location near the commissary on Hill AFB. The service was amazing, food was good, coffee was excellent. After they moved, I never could find them on my trips to Hill when I visited to go snow skiing. Last week I had a little extra time so I set out to find the new location. Wasted 30 minutes of my life. I wanted a cup of coffee (they used to serve fresh brewed Starbucks). They only have mass produced coffee now that had obviously been made several hours prior. It was undrinkable and got poured out in the parking lot. When I purchased my cup to serve myself, I walked over to get the coffee and I saw what appeared to be a coffee maker. It had one of those sight glasses that show how much coffee is in the thing. The sight glass was clear (appeared empty). I asked the only person I could find working there. She was leaning over the counter obviously wanting to talk to someone besides me. I asked her politely where the coffee was. Her response .... "WHAT!" I asked again where I could get some coffee. In a snide tone she said "Right there (the empty looking pot)" .... like I was too stupid to know what a coffee pot was. I just said "it looks empty but okay". Anyway, I will never be back. A shame too because it WAS a good place in their early days. « Read less
