02/15/2010 - dissatisfied diner
We decided to try out this local diner. upon entering, the diner was clean and well appointed with tasteful decore. We looked at the menu, noticed it was priced a bit more than other breakfeast menus, but we were there to try the food and so we did.
We orderd 2 dishes: biscuits and gravy and french toast.
We were served our food rather quickly.
The biscuits were doughy like they had been microwaved, the sausage links that came with it were tough and chewy as well. The gravy was anything but desirable.
The french toast was also chewy as if it was microwaved.
We got our bill and it was $20 -- nice we pay for food we didn't even eat.
The cashier, who I think is a manager/owner asked how everything was and I said OK. She said just OK? I said yes ..... she didn't inquire any further if there was anything in particular that was wrong if she could fix anything.
I will never return to this diner.
