Went to this place on Sunday based on KSAT article/story. Wanted some good street tacos. Went to the Nacogdoches location. Staff was 5 star. Very cheerful and helpful. Slightly busy. No wait. So, I ordered 3 tacos, 2 Al Pastor and 1 Chorizo. A little over $9 for the 3. Tacos were adequately filled and came with grilled onions, cilantro, a large grilled jalapeno, radish and cucumber slices. Al Pastor was actually very dry, much to my surprise. Chorizo was nice and moist. Got it to go. Over the top? No. Not for me. Will I go back...Maybe. After I try the other places that "have great tacos." No offense, Taquitos West Avenue, you just didn't float my "tastebud boat!" I was hoping to be able to say otherwise. BUT lotsa folks think you are the bomb. Just not for me. To each his or her own.

This place is overrated. I simply don't understand what most of the people see in this place.
First time here and I went with a party of 4. We had two horchatas, a coke, and a jarrito. About 20 tacos were order between us 4. We ordered cabeza, bisteq and lengua. Total was $47. They asked if we wanted to tip, we didn't because there was no service to tip. We sat and ordered ourselves. Staff got upset when we decided to not tip. 🤣
The place seems to have been recently remodeled. The music is LOUD. Parking is a bit of a hassle. They seem to own the auto garage next door for parking.
Meat is flavorless. Just awful.
Place has meat on the floor, they should focus on cleaning the place in order for someone to be inclined to tip.
Only good thing was the green sauce.
Won't be returning.
