While staying in San Diego, I discovered a charming breakfast diner with a unique retro vibe, split between '50s and '70s decor that instantly caught my eye. The waffles were incredibly fluffy and flavorful, especially the churro variety, paired perfectly with friendly and attentive service that made the experience warm and welcoming. Despite the unassuming exterior, the generous portions, reasonable prices, and thoughtful touches like kids' activity sheets made every visit feel like a comforting treat worth returning to.
