I came across the food truck run by Bob and Shota Kubo at the San Jose Japantown Farmer's Market. The shrimp and pork deep-fried skewers I tried were quite satisfying - the shrimp was a good size and the pork was tender and juicy. It was interesting to learn that their name translates to "chargrilled skewers food lover," reflecting their fun Japanese street food offerings. I hope their new Japanese food truck business thrives in the South Bay.
