Hey, have you seen the banner outside? It says they're under new management now. The guy who's always there must be the manager, and he's super nice and attentive. The banh mi sandwiches are always fresh, warm, and really well made - definitely the best Lee's around! If you're a Canadian in the Bay Area missing your iced capp, try their coffee smoothie. The banh mi sandwiches here are surprisingly good, with fresh and crispy baguettes filled just right. I usually go to the Cupertino Lee's since it's close to home, but I tried this location because they close later on Sundays. The food isn't bad, but I still prefer the Cupertino spot. They put less filling in the sandwiches here, and the egg rolls seem smaller. The BBQ pork in the sandwich was also colder than I'd like. The place looks more modern inside, but the food doesn't quite hit the mark. We enjoyed everything we tried - the food, drinks, and coffee were all great. However, the customer service wasn't the best - the person taking our order seemed unfamiliar with the menu and had trouble getting our order right. Despite that, Lee's has reopened and it's now amazing! They've given the store a much-needed deep clean and the bread is super fresh again. Plus, the staff are really friendly.
