I have been wanting to go here for awhile. I live just down the street. What a waste of money and time!! Nothing, I mean nothing was any good, and I am not a picky eater at all! There was 2 adults and a child in my party. What we ordered: pancakes, 2 different omelets, side of bacon and biscuits and gravy.
Was looking forward to the pancakes since the reviews were very positive - oh my - they were sooo gross, very blah and no flavor. Both omelets were very, very dry and had to add a lot of salt and pepper to get any taste out of them.

Where do I begin with the biscuits and gravy !! oh my!!! GROSS !!!! The biscuits were hockey pucks and the gravy was positively canned. If you like the canned variety you will like this, but I don't. I'm from the South and biscuits and gravy are a staple at every single restaurant.

I do like my bacon cooked, but this was brunt and left an aftertaste of brunt whatever...

A lot of reviews were saying the OJ was freshly squeezed and it was, but OJ tastes the best cold, I was served room temperature OJ Not Good At All!

Avoid this place! Waste of your time and money. We spent $48, way too pricey for breakfast and only ate maybe 1/4 of the meal. Denney's would have been better and cheaper than this place and that is not saying much.

We loved this place in our first visit(we went by the yelp reviews) and always think we should encourage family owned businesses. Bummer! there it was big disappoint and holiday or weekend spoiler.
The waitress was rude. She kept eating her food (using both hands) in between moving around to take orders and deliver the food from the kitchen. Her plate was at the entrance throughout the 30mins and she kept eating and even shook hands and touched people, chairs and menu cards as and when people came-in. Yuck!! I really wanted to click a picture and post it on yelp. After this the orders weren't made as we asked. And they arrived really late (3 families who ordered after us got their food before us and they paid and left, after which our order arrived!). When we complained about this to the owner at the end she was very rude and said, 'OKAY!'. We had the same experience the previous time too, but that weekend it was very full and completely crowded. But today was a slow day, but they were at their worst. No more chances!

I have been going to the Bill Of Fare for many years. It is by far the BEST restaurant for breakfast. There are many delicious items to select from but I always have one of their famous omeletes.
