The calzone here is absolutely incredible, with wood-fired dough that is bubbly and chewy, complemented by unique and vibrant flavors like sun-dried tomatoes, artichoke hearts, and feta on their veggie pizza. Despite a small kiosk setting and only one person working, the service was friendly and efficient, making the whole experience enjoyable and memorable enough that I plan to return whenever I'm in Arroyo Grande.

Palo Mesa on Grand in the Village offers delicious wood-fired pizzas with interesting flavors and excellent bubbly chewy dough. The BBQ chicken pizza is a standout favorite, and the service is friendly and accommodating. If you're in the area, it's definitely worth stopping by for a slice of their great pizza.
