** HORRIBLE SERVICE **
** Eat here if you like 1. Horrible Service, 2. Mediocre Food and 3. Lots of MSG (masking the lack of freshness in the ingredients).
The lady manager who works the cashier during COVID has the worst attitude possible. I am very familiar with all Chinese dishes, and can speak Cantonese fluently but cannot read Chinese. Since a number of their English translations either didn't make any sense, were inaccurate, or omitted key details (e.g. cooked with "fish sauce" vs. "garlic"), I attempted to clarify upon ordering. The lady did not answer my question, but instead, snapped back "Don't order if you're not ready" and simply stood there behind her cashier, staring at her corrugated plastic COVID wall. Considering there were no other customers in the store, 'busy' was not an explanation nor an excuse for her behavior -- it's clear this is her standard customer service.
After we ordered, she spat out a total $ amount verbally (no bill / itemized receipt) that was substantially more than what 3 dishes should add up to. I asked her for the breakdown. With frustration, she starting reading out the dishes (without prices) and I realized she put in 1 of the dishes 3 separate items, each time with a different sauce. I clarified that when I asked about the sauce options, she did not answer me, and certainly me asking for the types of sauce didn't mean I wanted to order the same dish in every sauce possible. Her response in Cantonese "then you need to open your mouth and say so!"
Interestingly enough when I was shuffling for my wallet (this place only accepts Cash), she randomly said "thank you" in English, with the most quiet voice. I didn't tip, given her horrible service and no way of even telling whether the $ amount she spat out was accurate, and of course she had a horrible attitude when handing over our food when it was finally ready.
Got home - the food was --not-- worth the horrible customer service, and I passed out almost immediately from the heavy amount of MSG they clearly added to the food.
