Having experienced dim sum at numerous locations across the U.S. and internationally, HL Peninsula in Burlingame stands out for its spacious dining area, attentive service, and a menu that balances classic favorites with unique, elevated dishes. The food quality is consistently fresh and flavorful, with highlights like the silky scallop congee, delicate har gow, and the irresistible salted egg lava buns that deliver an unforgettable taste. While it can get busy and prices are on the higher side, the overall ambiance, efficient service, and occasional views of landing airplanes make it worth visiting, especially when booked in advance or during less crowded times.
