This restaurant is listed multiple times under multiple names as state street cafe and/or china bowl likely as an attempt to dodge bad reviews and here comes another.......
ordered dinner for 4 at 530, after 2 hours and 3 phone calls food arrived, paid $70 and still tipped the driver, called to speak to the manager when the food obviously had been in the back of a car for 45 minutes, he offered to give me a break next time, upon serving the food we find out the hard way the food prep had been terrible to begin with so the time in the car actually softened it up a bit, called to let them know I was coming down to return the food and was told I would get 50% back, when I protested the guy told me to watch myself or he would give me nothing. food went in the trash uneaten, food was literally inedible.

Typically pretty crappy food, with very rude staff in the evenings. Order from the Empress Palace if you want Chinese delivery, better food and nicer people.

The worst won tons i've ever had, i ordered for delivery and when the food arrived 55 minutes later it was cold. Better go to Panda Express

I had an ad for this place. Too tired to cook or go out. Thought we would give you a try. This was the worst chinese food I have ever had. I called them back to tell them I wanted a refund. The guys name was Tony. The won tons were like rubber, the chicken called General Tsu s' chicken was described as lightly breaded chicken enhanced by a mixture of garlic and giinger, mildly spicy. It was thicked battered deep fried rubbery chicken soaked in a heavy sweet sauce. No taste of ginger and garlic or spicy. The beef human was just as bad. the meat and the peppers where so darkly cooked that you could not tell which was which. My sixteen year old bit into the pepper and freaked it was so hot tears rolled down her eyes. She thought is was the beef. The beef was like rubber. You chewed it for awhile then had to spit it out. The hot and sour soup tasted notthing like hot and sour soup. It was like eating a wierd thiick goopy gravy. YUk! The so called stir -fried vegetabbles were soggy boiled vegies in a thick goopy sauce. YUK YUK! Will someone please tell these people what stir fry is!!!!! The only thinks that were ok were the boiled rice and the wonton soup was ok. I told the so called rude rude rude manager tony all of this and that I want my money back and he told me I am not getting my money back and that this is the way we have been doing it for 35 years. I told him I want to talk to the owner. He said he would be in tomorrow. I said what is his name. He said Carlos Torres. I said so he is hispanic? He said yes. I said huh. He acted as if I was acting like a hispanic cant have a chinese resturant. He was extrememly rude. Acted as if I was discrimminating. Little does he know that my moms husband is hispanic and has the last name of Torres also. He is a great guy and makes this chinese food look l like slop! Be warned it is terrible food in my familys opinion. $45 bucks down the drain! And... boy do I feel sick.
