When we arrived around 11:15 a.m., all the outdoor seating was taken, but we were able to sit inside near the cozy fireplace without a reservation. The food was generally good, with flavorful ribs and chili, though the tri-tip sandwich was a bit under-seasoned and the onion rings slightly over-fried this time. Parking is limited and mostly along the highway, so be prepared for a walk, but the rustic, historic atmosphere and attentive service create an enjoyable dining experience.

The service was awful. The servers seemed unhappy to be there. The food was not good. And, if you do go and eat there, they routinely overcharge on purpose. I wrote an email to the manager to say I was overcharged and he did not even give me the dignity of a response. The only thing nice was the ride. I would suggest passing this joint up and travel a little further down the road to a decent establishment.
