The food at Zaytoon is absolutely delicious, with standouts like the lemon chicken, malshwa, pistachio spread, and potato appetizer that truly excite the palate. The enchanting outdoor garden setting, complete with cozy fire pits and romantic lighting, creates a magical ambiance perfect for intimate dinners or gatherings with friends and family. The attentive and polite service enhances the overall experience, making each visit memorable and something I look forward to repeating whenever I'm in Santa Barbara.

I have been in Santa Barbara for nearly 4 years and Cafe Zaytoon has become one of my favorite restaurants by far. The food is amazing, and the menu has a lot to chose from. The restaurant has an inside, outside, and semi-inside/outside portion that is covered. The service is also a plus. All I have to say is if you are looking to try authentic Mediterranean/Middle Eastern cuisine at a very good price, you cannot ask for much better than this place. You will not be disappointed!

Food is from cans, family special is yesterday leftover & highly overpriced.
Setting is good, area is good too.

I mostly liked the atmosphere. The tables are so authentic (reminded me of Lebanon) and the music too. Moreover, the lamb shawarma with a Tabulli side and Hummus made my whole visit complete. My husband had Falafel and chicken shawarma and liked it too.
The waiter was aware of our needs before we ask for it (eg. refilled the bread before it's finished)
In my opinion, I'll have to go there about once/2 weeks (since it's far from where I live) otherwise twice a week if you're near by.
