Quite possibly the worst pool hall in the state of California.
A great place to go if you want to be disrespected by a bunch of tyrannical 12 year-olds that the owner allows to run the place and play on tables that haven't been felted in years. If you like nice pool tables, Fast Eddy's in Capitola is a 10 minute drive away & cheaper. If it isn't on tap, these kids probably don't know how to make the drink. Yuval would be hard-pressed to make a Jack & Coke without messing it up, then will chastise you for ordering something that takes more than 10 seconds to prepare. When you see the Nazi propaganda on the walls in the bathroom, know that this is not by accident - Surf City Billiards operates in a fashion that supports any/all authoritative regimes. If you can go literally anywhere else in Santa Cruz with a pool table (The Blue Lagoon, WestSide Parish, The Asti, Top Spot, The Rush Inn, The Jury Room, The 1007 Club, JJ's Saloon, Oak & Ale, Fast Eddy's Billiards, The Mediterranean, Castaways, or Callahan's), you will probably have a better time.
