This cozy tea room in Savannah's historic district has such a charming vibe with vintage decor and lots of history, making it perfect for a relaxing afternoon. The food and tea were tasty, especially the scones with clotted cream and jam, and the service was friendly and attentive, even if a bit uneven at times. It's a great spot to unwind, whether you're grabbing lunch or enjoying a leisurely tea, and I loved how welcoming it was to all kinds of visitors.

Planned a weekend trip around being able to have afternoon tea at Gryphon, arrived at the location and saw a banner over the entrance saying they were open (the building is obviously being renovated), get to the door and there is a paper saying they are, in fact, NOT open. Extremely disappointed. No mention of closure on their website either.

Went there for high tea today with my granddaughter. The whole experience was lovely. We were waited on by a delightful SCAD student, who explained the history of the building and was a cheery presence throughout. The tea selections and tea tower were superb. We will def be back.
