We have been having the ultimate pleasure of dining at this beautiful restaurant for a few years. We look forward to seeing the staff each week. They are absolutely wonderful surpassed only by the excellent food they serve. Casa Bella is the place to go if you want to experience fine dining in Scranton.

I have been to Casa Bella many times. The food is excellent. I love the vodka sauce. This restaurant employees all work together to make your dining experience a pleasurable one. When we have weekend guests we always take them to Casa Bella because the food is consistently good!
This is one of the best restaurants in NEPA!

I have only visited this restaurant 3 times and I must say every time is better , the staff and Sam r amazing , and the food is out of this world . I am taking my husbands 83 yr young mother tomorrow night she has never been there, I know will will love it .

I just started frequenting this place. Really cozy and excellent food. All of the waitstaff is involved in your dining experience which in my mind seems like an orchestra. Great bread, great big shrimp, great pasta, etc. I, personally also cannot take my eyes off of Courtney. She is elegance personified and one of the sexiest women I've ever seen in NE PA. Sorry, just being honest. But great great food and establishment. Hope I'm not in trouble for the comment.

Me and my gf come here all the time tho sometimes they get really busy, i have not had one bad experience there, the food is outstanding so is the service all around a really good restaurant if you have not been here i highly recommend coming here its the best Italian food in the area.. Also drinks and desserts are really good and they have the best veal parm I've ever tasted... Hands Down take your significant other there they will thank you.. :-D

A few weeks ago, I called to make a reservation for 4:30, and I said I would like a 'side' table becausse my 90 year old mother is in a wheelchair. Sam said no problem. I arrived promptly at 4:30; there was ONE table occupied. I asked the male waiter to sit on the "side." He tried to put my mother(who was in her chair)deep into the restaurant.
I mentioned that I 'come here all the time." The 'help' stated that EVERYONE comes here all the time. He waved a model of the night's table settings. I turned around and left.
I truly believe that the food is good BUT the owners have become "too big for their britches" as my grandmother used to say. It is a poor economy,people go out to relax and enjoy--not to be embarrassed. If Casa can afford to lose customers, so be it.If they can afford to lose $600. in gift certificates for holidays, so be it. Birthday celebrations with 6 or more, so be it. GONE
Maybe it was a SLAM against disabled people. Who knows---some people I have talked with think it is.
Good luck in the new economy. You are not so magnificent that you can 'dis' people.

Previously I wrote a review that questioned the treatment of the owner Sam to those of us who asked that the unopened mussels we were served be returned to the kitchen. Sam refused to do that even tho we had to assume they were already dead before being cooked.
Sam pried one open,told me it was fine. I asked him to replace the 3 mussels, he refused shouting "you're unfair". When next we returned (I was part of a party and didn't know we were going there) Sam told the host I was "unwelcome" in his restaurant because I "wrote a bad review". Needless to say all were most uncomfortable and had I known he said that to my host, I would not have stayed. I have read negative reviews on this restaurant before and wondered if all those who wrote them were "unwelcome" too. Someone pointed out that the difference is gender. Needless to say I have spread the word of my story and hope that Sam changes his attitude.

Absoluitely the best restaurant in scranton with area.Best service and food is always fresh and cooked te perfection.I dont really understand what made j.snith on previous review to think that way,or maybe she is one of them B that is miserable and hate herself when she goes up in morning .

This is absolutely the worst restaurant in the area. The shrimp special had such a fishy smell that I could not eat it. The owner was totally unprofessional and yelled at us when we complained about it. We will never return there again.
