Since opening in 1987 in Covington Twp., Mendicino’s Pizza and Family Restaurant has grown from a small take-out store front at one end of the ShopRite Complex moving to an expanded full-service Italian restaurant.
Our fresh-dough pizza and from-scratch sauces remain, but the menu has expanded to include more classic and traditional dinners, such as the parmigiana offerings and our Father’s homemade tripe.

The white pizza I ordered was fantastic, and the antipasto salad was enjoyable despite my preference for tuna salad on its own. The restaurant has a clean, welcoming atmosphere with a family-owned vibe, and the staff treats everyone like family. I've been coming here for years, and the generous portions, reasonable prices, and delicious food always make for a wonderful dining experience.

Great restaurant! Our favorite! Love their food, priced right amd great portions. The wait staff is so friendly and attentive. Our favorite is Donna! The bar staff is exceptional, our favorites are Jason and Natalie. They are so friendly and attentive as well.

Mendicinos has a friendly staff. Very nice people. The food is fantastic. Prices are very reasonable. Nice atmosphere. Just a great place to take the family!!

food was nothing special, basic menu. Service was awful! the server we had just gave us an attitude like we were annoying her. we had to catch her walking by 3 times to ask for service. not once did she come by after we were served to see if "everything was okay", just here's your check, not even have a nice evening! her long black hair scared me too, really should of been pinned up!

Ordered a small Hot Wing pizza. Very disappointed. Very skimpy of everything,tasted bland and not spicy at all.
Also, seated at the bar, We found the bartender to be annoying as he would walk past us every second checking our drinks , too anxious to ask if we wanted another drink. Pushy..like a used car salesman. Visit was dinner time on Nov.16,2014.
