I thought I had to write this review after my wife went here last night and was treated very rudely from a member of staff..the food was terrible and took forever..if you want good food go elsewhere...we own a pizzeria 30 miles away and we know whats good and whats unexceptable..we are from new york and we dont have to deal with attitude like that

The food is delicious, Joe is the best pizza maker in town. It is the ONLY place in town to get good Sicilan pizza. For example, if you go to the local Steamtown Mall and get the Sicilian at the second floor cafeteria, it is over three dollars a slice, it is not as thick, doesn't have that wonderful stretchiness that Sal's has. Sal's Sicilian is only $1.75 and it tastes like the best I have had in Brooklyn N.Y. Their thin slice pizza is just like the famous Rays thin slice in N.Y.C. and is cheaper than the local Buonos pizza, over fifty cents cheaper, and tastier. Yet people go to Subways, Dominos and the local chains, when we have the best right here in Scranton. They open early, at 10 AM. I just had 3 slices of their delicous slices, but their calzones are great too. My favorite pizza place in Scranton, Geoffrey.
