We arrive and 3 employees pass us without acknowledging us. After more, than 5 minutes the hostess comes out and says hi and it seemed something other than us were on her mind and she asked us to wait while they check the table that we reserved.
During our 10 min wait she was talking to a female and they look up at us twice.
At this point we should have left because it was a weird vibe. We noticed no staff was smiling except for another female waitress and a waiter.
No one else.
They sat us at a window seat as we asked, but it went down hill from there. The person the hostess was talking too, turned out to be our waitress.
The waitress arrives and doesn’t say hello or introduce herself. So, as she’s pouring the comp champagne toast, I decide to break the ice and say, “so how was your day” and she smiles and we have good small talk. Just before she left I had to ask, what and why was this poured for us? We’ve never been here before. It was the comp champagne toast. Cool, we thought. It was good.
Then she said she’ll bring water. When she came back and took our order the water had not arrived.
Long story short, my drink arrived from the bar, my girlfriends wine did not. We had to wait for the waitress to come back and ask for it.
We got waters finally
Food arrived, and they took away silverware after the appetizers and didn’t bring back the correct silverware and we couldn’t get anyones attention. After 15 min without seeing the waitress or bus boy, I got up to ask, but another bus person from another section walked by so we asked her. She obliged and apologized.
Besides the silverware, We never had refills on our water, when other tables did. We were never asked if we wanted another drink. So when we were done, there’s was no way we were going to stay for dessert, which I wanted. It was my birthday.
We nicely talked to the waitress about our concerns, and tried to be nice how we presented it, because it was her that was not acknowledging us, but she didn’t quite get it.
She said she would talk to the staff, because they all work together. Putting the blame on others, when it was clearly her.
It was terrible experience and service and we will NOT be back. After spending $110.00, I think we should have received much better service.
We will not return.
