After a long stretch of holiday leftovers, my fiancí©e and I craved fresh sushi and found ourselves at Kaharu, where the cozy, dimly lit interior immediately set a warm and inviting mood. The sashimi arrived beautifully presented, with thick, flavorful cuts, and the rolls were hearty and satisfying, especially the deep-fried soft shell crab-topped creation that still held its heat. Friendly service and a tranquil atmosphere made the evening feel like a gentle escape, reminding me why this quiet, unassuming spot has become a favorite retreat for us.

Craving a break from leftover holiday meals, my fiancí© and I opted for a sushi dinner in Federal Way. Despite the abundance of choices in the area, my fiancí© recommended Koharu based on her previous positive experience. Upon dining there, I found the service to be prompt and exceptionally friendly. The cozy ambiance, dim lighting, and overall cleanliness of the restaurant provided a pleasant dining environment.
