Wonderful food and service. Our new/old go to diner..

Another great meal at Pine Cone. I’d like to say that I tried something new, but I can’t. I love the cheese, mushroom & spinach omelette. I love that omelette. Service was extra friendly, restaurant was clean, food was great. I don’t know anything more I could want. Thank you for being in UPlace.
02/01/2023 - Not again soon, if ever!
Limited menu-spaghetti was only “dinner” item, lots of sandwiches and breakfast items. Onion soup was awful. No soup spoons. No pies or other desserts on the case.
Space very much smaller than the old Pine Cone. Chairs not comfortable on the dining table. Not a cozy family atmosphere.
My favorite line from the waitress: Did anyone save room for a breakfast pastry?
This place needs help!

We were very excited to see the Pine Cone open again, closed for the pandemic and reopened by former patrons that reportedly missed the place. We stopped for lunch the first day. i ordered a tuna melt. It was loaded with tuna, but the chef used WAY too much mayo. It upset my stomach for the whole afternoon. Today we tried it for breakfast, as that's the telling menu for me. I ordered my standard eggs over medium well, home fries, link sausage and whole wheat toast. The potatoes were these small, tasteless, tiny pieces of potato. The eggs were lacy around the edges but the whites inside were undercooked and gooey. I got one piece of dry, stale-tasting toast with one small pat of butter I had to spread myself. Even the coffee was different. They used to have great breakfasts. That's twice I've been disappointed with the new menu. I'm wondering if it's worth trying the dinner menu when they start serving that. I'm sorry, but it's NOT the same Pine Cone. So sad!
