The Chinese food at Waukee is absolutely delicious, and the long-standing employees there really add to the welcoming atmosphere. I especially enjoyed the fried rice and sweet and sour dishes, which were unmatched by any other restaurants in the area. The experience was so satisfying that I will definitely be returning for more of their fantastic food and friendly service.

I have been going to wah kues since I was a youngster,1950's Our Dad and Mom took us there often and we got it to go alot as well, we loved it. Now it still looks the same, except in the 50's there were wall lamps... nothing fancy but the food is great, our favorite server is TIM he is our pal and makes us feel at home every time.We were just there last Friday 1/31/14 when you go go hungry. Thanks Tim..........Gary and Alice
