food was excellent, service was also good, kung pao chicken was the best in town! must try! The only thing is they are always too busy on the delivery, the phones keep ringing when you are eating in the restaurant..

food poisoning

Food is fairly mediocre--considering how mediocre as a whole the Chinese restaurants in general in San Francisco (compared to NYC). The dishes they label "hot" are real mild with almost no spike to them. Chow meins and fried rices are bland. Sweet & sour is weird. Kung pao is weak. Which is so sad because for the first couple of years this place was open, it did ace food. Service can be spotty--I once called in an order and told the woman I'd pick it up; when I got to the restaurant she said they'd sent it out to be delivered (this is after I specifically told her I'd pick it up) and I could wait for 20 mins for the driver to come back. I had to get to work so I couldn't wait (and didn't want cold food anyway). When I've picked up food from them, they never seem to have any plastic bags to carry my things in so I have to struggle with several overstuffed paper bags that always rip on the way home. The food here won't make you sick and it is cheap, vegetables seem to be fresh (I hate it when Chinese places use frozen vegetables!), but if you can get to a better Chinese place, go there instead.

Great place if you are a vegetarian. Many options which are all delicious.
