10/14/2007 - Captures the essence of San Francisco
I went to Cafe eight with two other members of my Family. It is not at all fine dining but, still created that perfect atmosphere expected when dining on the wharf. The food selection was expectational....seafood, pizza's etc. We ordered...Shrimp which was cooked and seasoned to perfectiion. We also ordered spagettii with crab cakes as well as clam chowder in a large bread bowl. Both were good. The portions were perfect for lunch and not at all overbearing. The service was also very friendly and efficient. The price was a bit high but compared to the neighboring restaurants it was quite reasonable. I would definitely reccomend this restaurant to anyone wanting to dine in the bay area.
