On a warm day, we stopped by Za Pizza after a walk and found their huge, thin-crust slices to be incredibly satisfying with the perfect balance of cheese, sauce, and dough. The atmosphere is welcoming and kid- and dog-friendly, with friendly staff and a cozy vibe enhanced by children's artwork on the walls and seating both inside and outside. Their rotating slice flavors, quick service, and fresh ingredients make it a fantastic option for pizza lovers seeking quality and value in San Francisco.

Oh, the crust! Absolutely, the best pizza in SF!
I've had so many terrible pizza-by-the-slice experiences here in SF, I was so surprised when I wandered in and discovered the perfect slice. The crust is thin and crispy-- not that soggy doughy junk. I'm not a New York pizza purist, and I'll admit that some kinds of fancy topped focaccia passing for pizza is tasty in its own right, but sometimes you just need a good thin crust pizza done right.
As for the restaurant itself, it is no frills, doing mostly take-out and delivery. They did have the World Cup on TV, were friendly, and had some nice water-color artwork, and I enjoyed my short lunch there. It is all about the pizza! Go there.
