This is still the gold standard for Hunan food in the City...first opened when Henry outgrew the original Kearny Street location, it has been going non-stop for over 25 years, and I personally have been coming here for over 20 years (and yes, I did go to the original shop on Kearny, near Jackson. The food is still exciting, particularly the smoked meats. It is spicy and filllng, just the right kind of dinner for our cool SF evenings...hearty in flavors and in spirit!
