A friend brought me fresh baked items from Mr. Bread, including pineapple buns with a crisp crust and dense bread that improves when heated, as well as Portuguese egg tarts featuring a flaky crust and silky, lightly sweet custard-both are best enjoyed warm. The bakery offers a variety of delicious Chinese-style breads and pastries, operates on a cash-only basis, and is known for friendly service despite occasional lines, making it a reliable destination for flavorful treats.
