After work on a Friday, my friends and I comfortably settled into a booth at Shotwell's, where I enjoyed a warming glass of mulled wine while appreciating the chill, welcoming vibe, friendly bartenders, diverse drink selection including rotating ciders and foreign imports, fun activities like pool, darts, pinball, and trivia night with great prizes, as well as the lovely outdoor seating area surrounded by manicured trees and flowers, all making for an easygoing, no-frills evening that felt like a true neighborhood gathering spot.
