Growing up in a Chinese household in the Bay Area and having traveled to China, I can confidently say the flavors here hit that perfect umami balance, especially the sour fish soup with vermicelli, which was a revelation with its tender fish and savory depth. Watching the fried rice sizzle in the hot pan right before my eyes added to the experience, while the casual, vintage vibe and friendly service made each visit feel comfortably authentic.

We went out and ate Italian but just didn't hit the mark. We went here afterwards and it was fantastic!
Wish we had gone here in the first place.
Just told chef to make us what he wants and it just kept coming and was delicious!!
