The station is small but well-maintained, with friendly staff and tidy restrooms. However, on my last three visits over the weekends, there were no food options available, prompting me to look for alternatives elsewhere.

What a joke this place is now! We've lived in Adell for 8 years and we have always loved going in the Adell store and chatting with the employees with familar faces. The prices were reasonable and it was nice to talk to the same people every day. Such great customer service that is no more. Fast forward to ownership changes recently. It is my understanding that the same person who purchased the waldo store (and ruined it) has now bought our little store on the corner. He went in and fired every one of the long term employees and told them not to come back even to shop! These are people that made this place great. These people were like family, we were all friends. Several employees are our neighbors. Now it's a terrible joke. I don't know who the one person is that is always working every shift in the Adell store (a family member perhaps?) But this guy always has his phone on speakerphone and is yelling
at whoever he is talking to in a language I can't understand, when he is supposed to be working and checking people out along with giving customer service.

I have been back twice and both times I have stood at the counter waiting while this guy is talking in a different language and yelling. At first I thought he was talking to me because his phone is somewhere else, on speaker phone. Then I realized, nope, he is ignoring me while screaming into his phone.

Our neighbors feel the same way. We live in a town of 500 or so people and after the way the owner treated the long term employees along with the way we have been ignored and treated when we go in, and with the absolute worst customer service I have ever encountered, we are never ever going back. We had already stopped going to the waldo store which has been ruined and now the only store near us is also ruined. We may be a town of only 500, but we were the people that stopped in several times a week and purchased products, food and gas. So there are at least 500 sales this person will never have. We have to drive to Plymouth since the only store past our store is the Waldo store that is even worse if that's possible.
Stand with us and boycott this store that is owned by someone who has already proven he doesn't know what he's doing and really doesnt care about anything but his greedy bottom line. The place is no longer worth stopping by!
