Tried this place twice. Not a lovely steakhouse setting. Loud, uncomfortable, expensive, weak drinks and more like a party house or a bar.
No way older patrons can sit in the front room. Tall tables and chairs. Scarey to climb up and down. TV blaring. No way to have a conversation.
Other room had rectangular tables, not condusive to an enjoyable conversation.
And as for the food, I question if those pale potatoes were fresh french fries. Texas Tavern had beautiful golden brown and fresh french fries.
The steaks, not juicy, no flavor that either of us could tell. Just some middle grade meat that was cooked.
And the salads left a lot to be desired.
Went back one more time and I had the loaded potato. Ha! Almost nothing in or on it. Dry, tiny bits of meat in it, maybe a teaspoon or so, and just not worth what they charged. We have not been back again and doubt that we ever will. A waste of an evening out.
