The fried chicken here is consistently fresh, hot, and juicy with perfect seasoning, making each meal very enjoyable. Despite the long lines that often extend onto Mansfield Road, the service is impressively fast, friendly, and respectful, whether using the drive-through or walk-up option. The sides, especially the well-seasoned fries and red beans with rice, complement the chicken well, creating a satisfying and flavorful dining experience.

The fried chicken at Southern Classic on Mansfield Road is a must-try. Whether you use the drive-thru or walk up to order, the large, perfectly seasoned pieces are always hot and fresh. Despite the long lines, the fast and friendly service, along with the delicious chicken and well-seasoned fries, make it worth the wait.

Since the Coronavirus, I have been there a few times and the staff that prepares your food does not wear a mask. The staff that collects your money wears a mask but the one who fix your food and give you your food does not. I refuse to get my get my order when I notice that. I asked them why they weren't wearing a mask and they told me that they did not have too. She was holding a hold conversation with another staff member while fixing my food. Not acceptable! Please wear a mask, I love the chicken!
