Eureka I have found...Santa Rosa & Grossman's Noshery & Bar!
Hello I say from Meester Peeches, The Usual Suspect thus Rounded Up!!

OK, no time for food today but I've seen the throngs of readily returning regulars to be so advised that quite a few are actually eating there with nary a gastric disturbance amongst them, cool! I've seen many a manifestation of said food itself and still have an extremely disturbing attraction to their Corned Beef on Wheat (Thanks to my host, R. Lundblad, cool guy extraordinaire, Snappy Dresser but needs a new mask, get on it R.L.!), Mia Culpa Mia Culpa Mia Maxi Mia Culpa...Mac's, sorry, theirs is just a tad more moist in the meat, perhaps it was just the day, I will succumb to another CB/Wheat...soon and will report my findings.

An absolutely stellar menu with most of your traditional 12-Triber's delights with a few original assemblages tossed in for ours and the chef's amusement...I mean just how much Chicken Fat can one schmear across a toasted bagel anyway, riiiight? OK but why Toad-A of all daze? Coffee. Once upon a thyme a regular and supportive member of "The Hang" but sadly, Aroma's attitude towards an ever-growing number of folks bothers me greatly, my politics allow for Aroma's but theirs do not allow for mine, I'm an inclusionist and they are ...they are...they are...extremely Hobophobic and have forgotten the universal truth that we are ALL members within the Grand, Glorious & Great Diversity, we survived (Barely!!!) "The Season of The Witch!" and although hobbled from assaults to our sensibilities, we for some reason, kept coming back but, I guess it just boils down to... I celebrate them whereas they do not...me but...per usual I digress, as is my want, I can control it, really I can, no, really, see?

Coffee @ Grossman's Noshery & Bar, res ipsa loquitur, quid pro quo, come and get your ya yas out! It comes in one size, per my limited experience, nope, two per update and again I went with Large, ever-thankfully I say...Thanks! There're quite simply not enough frigs in Friggin Great, to describe this friggin great, absolutely top shelf brew, full bodied without that aftertaste one normally associates with drinking sludge, such be the proffering of many a Booming Barista's Boon Oh and I walked in to find a waiter having at a lost cork within a bottle of White, eventually with success but...hey...perhaps the cork should have remained where it was, what with my proclivity towards the more serious entries born from and of enology, REAL WINES such as our Cabs, Zins, heck even a milder version of vintner's verbiage...Merlot makes it's way to my overly-picky palate whereas the mouthwash, I mean White Wines have their place as well for a variety of purposes & re-porpoises, such be auto parts dip, punishment for a guest who shows up both late and toting a bottle of the ever-vile White, during one of our, soon to be enjoyed again, outages where you well, well, your well it isn't supplying your...Porcelain God with enough fluid to flush, Huzzah, White Wine to the rescue but...am I digressing again? Ayup, sorry, Coffee from Grossman's, Yummm! (And I have never said Yum about coffee before but this absolute Ambrosia forces my hand!) Yummm, coffee from Grossman's Noshery & Bar, Yummm!

Grossman's Noshery & Bar, sits smack dab right next to uber-historic Hotel La Rose so much so in fact that they share a common wall and upon a rainy day one need not trouble their Louis Vuittons by stepping outside and into the deluge oh no, heaven's no, if they are but a current guest of the hotel they'll enjoy the fact that someone, I'm still investigating, had the most marvelous & brilliant foresight to include a one door of passage betwixt the two, how convenient!

So it's Tripadvisor for all your travel & not decisions about where to go, where to stay, and on that last one... Avoid the Travelodge on Santa Rosa Avenue like a mask-less, sweaty returnee from a tRump-fest, who's complaining of all the symptoms that are scaring the hell out of the rest of us, unless, yes unless you brought white wine to that one important party of your existence where you would have met the one true love of you life, yes the one you were subsequently ejected from, and rightly so, so, you truly do deserve a stay at that dump of a Toxic Waste Superfund Site/Bates Motellihsly horrific environ, The Travelodge, for people too stupid to find the GoodNiteInn, and now the Hotel La Rose is nudging itself into this acclaimed level of my admiration, Kudos to one and all of you who still believe in quality service, inclusion of all bearing their rightful pride of self and love for others, as well as enough ducats to cover your tab, otherwise...enjoy the weather, it's simply wonderful out today! Shalom!
