Wow if this isn't the wine country's special little secret I don't know what is. We are picky eaters, and are not easily impressed however with Tony's Galley if we could give them a higher rating than a five we would. This restaurant is located in the Montgomery Village area of Santa Rosa and we happened upon it by accident while doing the touristy thing today and were truly amazed at just about everything in this restaurant. Pricing is excellent one of the little secrets is they have happy hour food 7 days a week, each item is $6 and pretty impressive, one in our party ordered fresh crab spring rolls, and the clam chowder off of the happy hour menu the game with lots of fresh clams, bacon, potatoes, carrots, croutons and the flavor was crazy good you can tell that their food is fresh. Another person in our party ordered the fish and chips with fresh cod that came with truffle french fries, Apple coleslaw, three different dipping sauces, the fish was cooked to perfection. Another in our party ordered fish tacos like we had never seen before and it was obvious everything in the restaurant is fresh and so flavorful it was like having a party in our mouth we ended up sharing absolutely everything. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable and very fast, the restaurant itself is done tastefully with a huge floor to ceiling aquarium in the middle of the restaurant, the menu choices are plentiful, and pricing fits everyone's budget. This restaurant offers a full bar as well, it was very comfortable inside seating was arranged for social distancing, we cannot say enough about this restaurant you will not be disappointed you should give it a try bravo to Tony's Galley it's worth a trip for just this restaurant alone.
