Dear VEGANS AND VEGGIES! this place is gross! I was tricked into eating meat! Which the server blamed me for not disclosing i was vegan. BTW, as soon as i sat down you can BET YOUR BOOTY i asked about all the vegan options!! She had NO accountability at all! Which is rude and gross. I've been vegan for over 10yrs and have been to many restaurants and NEVER had this happen before. Service was rude and uncaring. I left this establishment feeling wronged and crying.
They brought chips and 'salsa' as usual like most restaurants. No one clarified or discussed the difference
between the 2 'salsas'. Who thought they would need to, but they really should!!!
They had vegan options and "veggie" option which is a LIE! only upon asking, I find out that their rice is made with chicken stock. Which the server said if I were "really" vegan I probably shouldn't have that. 🙄
Besides not being vegan, HOW IS THAT EVEN A VEGGIE OPTION?!!! There was rice listed in their "veggitarian" items. They are tricking people and not being curtious or open with the ingredients that they use. That behavior is sneaky and gross.
It took me a moment to find the perfect item on the menu, the server had checked in on us three times, (she excused herself to seat other people, which is totes fine I don't care, gave me more time to read the menu) on the 3rd check in, AFTER ALL OF MY VEGAN QUESTIONS and my bfs questions, my bf asked about one of the "salsas" which she disclosed had MEAT in it! We had been sitting/asking about veggie options/eating chips for over 20mins. I was so discussed. No one told us, especially after all of that time/questions about the menu. There were soooooooo many opertunities to clarify and help a girl out! GROSS and so inconsiderate! It's not salsa at all is fact. It's very runny liquidy beans I guess??? I feel so sick to my stomach, I feel tricked. I left crying!!! The server didn't care, she just wanted her payment for the drinks.
This isn't my first time going to a restaurant. As I've said, never in my life have I had this problem. This is literally f-ck-d.
