Timing your visit for Friday or Saturday is key to enjoying the friendly service, rustic ambiance, and phenomenal South Carolina-style barbecue featuring perfectly smoked ribs, pulled pork, flavorful hash over rice, delicious sides like mac and cheese and green beans, and the unforgettable banana pudding that made a lasting impression on me during a spontaneous stop that was well worth the detour.

This is the first I ever patronized a barbecue restaurant and didn't see or smell any smoke. Ordered 1/2 chicken n rib plate. Both were overcooked and it tasted like it had been baked. Giving 1 star for sauce and bread. Both were good.
