My daughter & her husband came for Christmas and stopped at Appalachian Alehouse to fill 3 Growlers and take out due Covid considerations... they were here from Massachusetts and excited to try some local micro brews and help local small businesses, but they were dreadfully overcharged 69.99 to fill 3 Growlers that were refills!
A normal charge for a Growler refill up north is 10.00- and Northern prices are higher than southern costs normally.
They were shocked, but paid it. When they came home and told me how much it was, I was shocked & angry and embarrassed! ...did they take advantage of Northern visitors? What a terrible experience and abuse of kind folk trying to support local business.
Not a place I will ever support or recommend again.
