10/20/2014 - Terry Taylor
I am a native Texan and I love Mexican food. I live in North Carolina now but am currently working in Anderson. I have bed driving by the El Patron restaurant going back and forth between the hotel and work. I decided to give El Patron a try. I first ordered a margarita. It was so bad that I couldn't drink it. Who ever made it needs to go back to margarita school! Then for my meal I ordered a couple of burritos that contained steak. I can't recall what they called them but it was something like steak and cheese burritos on the menu. This also came with rice and retried beans. The first burrito I cut in to didn't taste very good. It wasn't only "flat" tasting, it simply tasted terrible. I ate a couple of more bites before stopping. I never tried the second burrito. I tried the rice and beans which also did not taste good.
This is simply the worst Mexican food experience of my life!!! Life is too short to waste your money on bad food!
