This was my favorite seafood restaurant but it was sold to someone who I guess had a daughter that they needed to put to work but she doesn't know how to waitress either!!!!.......plus the changes in the food quality was alot.....it was a treat for the four of us to go at least once a month for all you can eat crab legs but are now water logged and tasteless. They will have to depend on the interstate for business because the locals want be going back.....not until they sell again........they let go the best help and the best food.....now it's run down and food is greasy and cold and all three waitress were on their phones and not taking care of the customers.Dont waste your money it's also over priced.

Sign outside said $15.95...got inside and the price was $19.95. Thursday night the price is $8.95 and on Sunday $10.95. Food was good and service was good but don't go on the weekend.

Went there to eat. Had crab legs they were over cooked got very little meat out of 3 plates.maybe a half cup at best for 32..95 the manager was about maybe 17 and could care less that we were unhappy. Said he cooked them and they were not over cooked.99.00 later I left there very upset! I never complain but this was aweful.will never go. Back

This place was AMAZING THIRTY YEARS AGO AND FAMILY INFORM ME THAT IT STILL IS.....great calabash shrimp and as I remember they used to offer small regular and large sized orders.... The largest was enough for a family of four. Living between, France, Santa Fe and New York I can assure you that if the Comoass were up here in NYC OR FRANCE OR SANTA FE THAT the prices would be triple what they are there!!! Though down there the Seafood is way cleaner!!!!
Great Old Fashioned South Carolina Barbeque!

I went in and ate on a Sunday. The wait staff was very courteous and attentive. I am from out of state and got my first taste of Carolina BBQ...Boy was it great. Everything seemed to be fresh and home cooked, something you do not see too much from restaurants anymore. I would recommend it to anyone looking for good cooking.

I guess Thursday evening is not a good time to go to the Compass Restaurant for crab legs. Our first order was very dry and lukewarm. We ordered more and they were also very dry. They must have been sitting in the kitchen a long time. The cooks and waitresses seemed to be engrossed in conversation most of the time behind the food bar. I do not mind paying $24 for crab legs if they are good but these were not.
