The folks at Presley Marina and the restaurant were super welcoming, and the grouper parmesan was seriously delicious. Eating on the lit-up covered dock while watching boats come and go made the whole experience even better, and I'll definitely be back for more of that great seafood and friendly vibe.

While visiting Edisto last week, my friends and I ate at Dockside and what a disappointment. I ordered the combo fried shrimp and oysters with baked potato. The "fried" oysters were raw inside. Don't know what was wrong with the shrimp. When I bit into it, all the batter fell off. The hushpuppies were brown on outside, but raw dough on the inside. Instead of the requested baked potato, I got a few cold, limp fries and the coleslaw has hot. One of my friends had the same thing I did. She was been suffering from food poisoning for the last two days. I think the only reason I didn't get sick was because I didn't eat enough. I barely tasted it. I plan to come back to Edisto, BUT I DEFINITELY WILL NEVER GO BACK TO DOCKSIDE.
