We went through the drive thru and I ordered a #13 which is the Chili Cheese Dog meal. chili. cheese. dog.
When we had begun pulling out I checked and there was no cheese. I called the restaurant to let them know. The girl who answered the phone decided to argue with me and tell me that I had ordered wrong and that it was my mistake not theirs, because they don't have a Chili Cheese Dog, they have a Chili dog and you have to ask to add cheese to it. I told her no, if it was plain Chili I would have ordered it added Cheese, and that I would be on my way back.
When I got to the restaurant there was a boy up front, I said they didn't give me Cheese and he cut me off mid-sentence, turned around and walked away from me. Horribly rude from the get go.
A little angry man with black hair and glasses came up front and I told him the lady on the phone wanted to argue with me. That i wanted a new item, and that if she looked at the menu or knew the meals like she should, she would know it specifically came with cheese, its in the name of the meal. He immediately got confrontational and said "did you have an attitude with her too". up to this point I had been very calm, I took offense to this because instead of give an apology and give me the right item I paid for he started arguing with me too. He said to get the right item I have to be kind. I was not unkind to anyone there, and I said I should get what I paid for as a customer and I did not order wrong. It was not my mistake it was theirs. I asked don't they have training they have to do. Because i worked in food service before and we are supposed to know the entire menu correctly.
And when I went in to give my correction and tell the manager he needs to make sure they know their menu, he decided to start yelling and get mad at me, the paying customer whose order they messed up. He falsely accused me of cursing and never once did I curse either.
He told me to "give him" my bag, I said if you're taking my whole bag you touched I want new food. I had other items in that bag. He got mad and told me "give me the Chili dog, that's all I'm going to give you" I am not the one who asked for the whole bag, he was. I didn't ask for anything I didn't PAY FOR.
Then they doubled down on their mistake and acted like they needed to kick me out. Over THEIR mistake, your manager told me to GET OUT. I don't appreciate being treated that way when I'm asking for a correction to a mistake they made. I worked in food service before and our saying was "I'm sorry that was our mistake, how can we make it right?" Not "you're wrong, you ordered wrong" "you're not allowed to be disatisfied with your order" and "get out".
I would like an apology. I may never come back to this particular establishment. I've been going there my whole life. I got treated like I did something wrong in front of a lobby full of people. I'd also like a refund. I was so disgusted with that kind of customer service I never even ate the food they sold me.
It looks like your establishment is down in many opinions as a filthy place with horrendous customer service from all the reviews I read. I'm not the only customer who has been argued with when the staff is the one who made the mistake. I'm posting my review on every platform there is so other people know not to come there and be treated that way.
Get rid of staff members who don't know their menu, don't know their jobs, and feel like it's okay to argue with customers.
