We dined in the lounge and enjoyed a range of food options, from sandwiches to full meals. The unique atmosphere in Springfield, with live music some nights and low ceilings, added to the experience. Despite the busy wait staff, the service was great, and the food, including fish n' chip and Philly sandwiches, was delicious.

I've been going to Lime Street for many years and like it very much. It is my default choice when I don't know where to take a guest for good, casual dining. The menu is varied--salads to steaks--and I've never had a bad meal. The ambiance is pleasant and the wait staff is helpful. I have found them to be very accommodating. If you want a quiet table and wish to sit and talk for two hours, that's okay. Once we made reservations for a family group of 14, including babies. They arranged to place the high chair away from "traffic" so servers could not spill anything hot on the baby. I appreciated their thought. Bottom line: a very dependable, pleasant place for lunch or dinner with a moderately priced menu.
