Despite its unassuming exterior, New Mandarin Chef offers a variety of flavorful dishes commonly found in Americanized Chinese eateries found in the suburbs. I suggest trying their chicken with eggplant in garlic sauce, chicken with string beans in garlic sauce, and their wonton noodle soup. The lunch specials include a choice of soup or soda. One inconvenience is the double parking style in the parking lot, which may require you to ask other patrons to move their cars for you to exit easily.
