I've been a resident of Stillwater for three years now, and only recently discovered Nilima's existence about two months ago. With my love for Indian cuisine, I had previously believed Sultan's was my sole option in town. Despite my desire to try Nilima's, locating the food truck proved to be quite a challenge due to its discreet location on the west side of Duck St., just south of Miller Ave. I was pleasantly surprised to learn that they offer delivery for a minimal fee of only one dollar, making their offerings almost too budget-friendly. Today's menu featured enticing options such as Chicken Tikka Masala, a chickpea and potato curry, and a spinach and corn curry, with combinations available like a meat and veg curry combo, a veg/veg combo, and a small meat curry combo. Opting for the first combo with chicken tikka and chickpea curry, I enjoyed generous portions of rice and naan bread alongside the flavorful dishes. The chickpea curry was particularly delightful, and the tikka masala stood out as some of the best I've tasted. The friendly and accommodating couple running the food truck left a positive impression, and I am eager to return for more, despite the potential strain on my finances.
